'Oral Health' is the mantra of modern dental teaching.
If 'Systemic Health' were a consideration from our teachers,
many areas of dentistry would be very different.
Although dentistry relies on a great deal of technical and physical aptitude by the practitioner, it has sadly come to represent the whole of dentistry’s approach to treatments. Most dentists see themselves as molar mechanics rather than medical professionals with specialised knowledge, and thus responsibility, for the wellbeing of the 
whole person. We can no longer pretend that our treatments are independent of systemic repercussions. The teachers can no longer claim ignorance of such well published material.
It is time for the medical profession to take note of the diseases caused by dental procedures.
I have heard to often from the teachers of dentistry that they do now know about the research demonstrating the dangers of mercury from amalgam, the dangers of root canal procedures and that of fluoride poisoning. At time of writing (Feb 2013) the oral surgery department at Sydney University is teaching dentists to place amalgam and fluoride in and on the teeth of patients with cancer, and to keep dead teeth in their bodies by doing root canal procedures. All cancer patients have a compromised immune system. These treatments have been shown over again in the published scientific research, to have a disastrous effect on the immune system. When confronted on these issues, I have been told that they do not know about the problems!
The claim of ignorance on the part of the teachers is simply unacceptable.
You do not have the right to teach other practitioners to perform treatments
which will affect the patient’s health so disastrously.

It is usually called a treatment or therapy. It is neither. This procedure causes a wide range of systemic diseases including cancer. It is a procedure that only produces dead, infected, gangrenous tissue buried in your jaw. This procedure has NO therapeutic value. This procedure has no scientific support as none of the aims of it are achievable. |
